A few UMPI Owls had quite the adventure last weekend! On Sunday, Senior Instructional Designer Michael Dobbs and Associate Professor of Business Jerry Choi took a quick dip into Long Lake as part of the 2025 Polar Dip at Long Lake Sporting Club in Sinclair. College of Arts & Sciences Administrative Specialist Cathy Anderson and Assistant Professor of Chemistry Udaya Jayasundara were there cheering them on! Michael and Dr. Choi raised $365 for Aroostook Special Olympics. In total, the Polar Dip event raised $15,000. A huge thank you to everyone who donated and shoutout to Michael and Dr. Choi for braving the chilly waters!
