큰 배움 (大學) 이란? - The Big Learning?

大學之: 큰 배움이란:  

道在明明 : 본래 밝았던 것을 다시 밝히는 길에 있으며, 

德在親(新): 따스한 몸과 마음을 늘 새로이 하는 것이며, 

民在止: 사람들을 잘못 가는 길로부터 멈추게 하여, 

於至善: 지극히 착함, 즉 하나 (一) 에 도달하게 하는 것이다. (正)


The big learning is: 
1) to enlighten the people's (inborn) brightness;
2) to refresh people's warmth of body and mind (virtue);
3) to cease people from going a wrong way; and in consequence, 
4) to reach people to the ultimate goodness.
