[Question] In the case of Korea, how shall we make a balance between the American-style Shareholderism and the European-style Stakeholderism to make healthy Corporate Governance?
[Answer] Fundamentally, Stakeholderism arises from market participants' disappointment with government and public policy failures and their demand for corporate accountability.
I believe that excessive Stakeholderism can lead to significant issues.
First and foremost, it is essential for market participants, especially shareholders and regulatory bodies, to operate in a manner that promotes shareholder value and enhances corporate value.

[답변] 기본적으로 Stakeholderims (이해관계자 주의)는 정부와 공공정책의 실패로부터 실망한 시장 참여자들이 기업들에게 책임을 촉구하는 것입니다. 따라서, Stakeholderism이 과하게되면 큰 문제가 될 수도 있다고 생각합니다. 일단은 시장참여자, 특히 주주들과 감독기관이 주주가치와 기업가치 제고를 정상적으로 운영하게 하는 것이 선결되어야 할 것입니다.
